Yesterday afternoon, we spent our last day in Tn, sight-seeing and shopping in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and went out to dinner for some famous Tn bar-b-que. This morning, we loaded up and headed into North Carolina. Our thoughts originally had been to go all the way to the coast of NC, but the recent superstorm Sandy has caused quite a mess of the coast, so we have decided to spend our time in NC a bit differently. We will spend most of our time between the Charlotte area, Raleigh/Durham area and Asheville. Sadly, we will miss Kitty Hawk, but it apparently had some road damage, and we just don't want to risk it! So here are a few pictures of the Pigeon Forge area, all decorated for Christmas. We certainly enjoyed this part of the country!! Blessings to you all...we miss you bunches!!
