"Hunger Games" on Location!!

With a little research from the Lion King of the bunch, we found out that we were just a few short minutes away from where several parts of the movie "The Hunger Games" was filmed. So, we just had to go!! It was in the DuPont State Park at the Triple Falls where several of the outdoor scenes were shot. It was pretty cool to have walked in the footsteps of those now famous actors and actresses who were in this blockbuster hit. We even climbed on the rocks of the falls (which was a bit illegal....considering all of the "do not climb on rocks" signs that were posted in several places). It was a really beautiful and fun place to end our tour of Asheville, NC.

Lionbarger actually means..."king of the hill"....so, here they are...kings (& queens) of the Hunger Games hill!!
