Washington DC Day Two

So day two was equally as full and fun as day one!! On this day's agenda was the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, a tour of the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetary. This was a most excellent day, in my humble opinion, because I got to see the "changing of the guard" at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier...something that I've always wanted to do!! Also, the Memorial at the Pentagon was exceptionally moving...184 people lost their lives there on Sept. 11, 2001, the youngest being 3 years old and the oldest being 70. A special thank you to our neighbor Tony for helping us to get a Pentagon tour!! Hope you enjoy the sample of pictures from this day...

  1. The Air and Space Museum was Kevin and Ryan's favorite. Are you going to Williamsburg, WV? Are you going to make your way to Kentucky and the Creation Museum?
