National Zoo

Look at those crazy animals!!

Monday was our day at the zoo...lots of animals, over two thousand we were told, and a hot, humid day made for a really nice day for our family outing!! Here are just a few picture of some of the cool creatures we saw :-)).

These guys were soooooo cute!! They are a golden-lion tamarin

 

I named this meerkat "Poser" because he stood and posed for several minutes making sure than everyone got his best picture...he was quite proud of himself!!

 

Paige's favorite animal...this guy was over 400 pounds!!

 

 

Somedays this is how I feel at the end of my days...happy, fat and lazy!!

 

This is how I wish I looked...sleek, strong and powerful!!
