Just before we picked up Kayla from the airport, we did a quick tour of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in historic Philadelphia. It was quite surreal to be in the same building, standing in places where our founding fathers stood when they signed our Declaration of Independence. It was really cool!! I enjoyed this day very much and felt humbled by the work of many men and women who laid down the foundations of my freedom.
