We arrived in Yellowstone yesterday afternoon and we had a couple of wonderful adventures the last couple of days...On Friday, we traveled for a couple of hours to arrive at Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. After lunch and a quick set up, it was river rafting here we come!! I will have a family member, maybe Madeline, share about the rafting trip, as I was the drop-off/pick-up girl. Then Saturday morning before our journey to West Yellowstone, we got to tour the Lewis and Clark Caverns, which could be the highlight of our month so far?!? Perhaps dad or Paige will blog of their experience in the cavern. Today is Sunday, July 1st...the official start of our second month of our sabbatical. We are rejoicing for so many reasons...several exciting things that have happened in the month of June...a birth of a new baby, a super-successful completion of a strenuous rehab program for someone dear to us, an injury-free, super-fun, mechanical-problem-free first month of sabbatical without killing each other AND renters for our house...praise to our wonderful Lord!! We went to a cute, little church this morning that reminded us of our childhood church and we sang the old hymns (out of the hymnal)that we sang as kids. It was a great morning! This afternoon we are heading into Yellowstone National Park, to see what we can see. We will keep you posted!
