Experiencing Vermont

Lila and I enjoying the fire in the restaurant before dinner
We were camped in Jay, Vermont and little did we know how much fun was around us. We were right up near a ski lodge and they were making lots of preparations for the upcoming snow season. On Wednesday evening, we went to a delicious dinner at The Bridge Grille in The Lodge which was right at our campground and it was sooooo neat, because there was actually a covered bridge INSIDE the restaurant. We sat at a table in the bridge and we were the only ones there that night...we had it all to ourselves!! We pigged out (which has been nothing new for us over the last five months) and even tried deep-fried dill pickle chips!! They were quite delicious, I must say!

So on Thursday, we did some school at the camper then got out to tour the area a bit and found this powerful waterfall named Big Falls. The water was rushing soooooo fast and loud that we could hear it from the road, several hundred feet away. The pictures just don't do it justice, but this waterfall was spectacular! After our sight-seeing afternoon, we had one of our most fun adventures yet...pictures to follow and you won't believe your eyes!!
